About The NEC
We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers.
We are based at a shop on the main street of Nimbin, The shop sells alternative arts and crafts, Music, stickers, T-shirts and posters all relating to environmental issues.
Within the shop we keep vital information on environmental issues, and inform the members of the public what is happening and how they can help.
The NEC is run by a committee board consisting of 8 members.
The committee makes all the decisions for the environment centre whilst still ensuring that the  local community play a part.
Through the NEC we create and/or support environmental protests.
But as the NEC is a non-profit organization we rely on the public to help.
Donations of Money, cars, blankets, tarps, non perishable food, ropes and people who want to make a difference are desperately needed.
